Nokia E63: A short-lived experience
It has been getting rave reviews all over (well for the price, at least)…but the unit I got had a big flaw…the keypad light didn’t stay on. Even when it was pitch-dark. It might be a quirky unit in the box, or just me not digging deep enough into the settings…but when the guy at the Optus world couldn’t make it budge from not lighting up the keyboard in a dark place, it wasn’t exactly rocket science to guess that the unit was faulty. I could have chosen to go for a one-for-one swap with an identical but brand-new unit, but I opted to have this one returned and refunded.
